 What is LifeRewards?
 LifeRewards is a healthy lifestyle related benefit launched by Sanlam in association with Reality. In essence if you take out the LifeRewards benefit with your Sanlam life cover product (Matrix) you will be offered a free annual health or fitness assessment and by doing either free assessment you can get a discount on your normal risk policy. The fitter and healthier you are the bigger your discount. If you are fit and in excellent health you could get up to 17% discount on your normal risk policy premium at Sanlam.

 Who is Virgin Life Care?
 Virgin Life Care is a health management company and a Reality Wellness partner. Reality’s LifeZone, the GoZone pedometer and the Health and Fitness Assessments are all managed by Virgin Life Care. Virgin Life Care provides easy, fun and motivating ways to lead a healthier lifestyle. All information is based on sound, scientific evidence and the team includes, among others, sports scientists, registered biokineticists and dieticians.

 Why do I have to be a Reality member to take out the LifeRewards product?
 Through its wellness partners, Reality provides the member with a convenient service to acquire their health and fitness information needed for discount purposes. Reality also offers members pre-negotiated discounts from a variety of wellness partners that could all contribute to an improved Health and Fitness Assessment resulting in a bigger discount on your policy. Reality will let you know when your next assessment is due and will also facilitate the communication between you and Sanlam.

 How do I receive discounts on my policy?
 By doing an annual Comprehensive Health Assessment at a Clicks or Dis-Chem Clinic or Fitness Assessment at a registered Biokineticist on the Virgin Life Care network. Reality will inform you when your assessment is due.

You could also receive additional discounts by completing events like marathons, cycling events etc and registering the events on Reality events, also by going to a Planet Fitness or Virgin Active gym regularly or by using your GoZone pedometer to accumulate steps.

 I have not yet gone for my Comprehensive Health Assessment / Fitness Assessment, where do I find a list of registered Biokineticists or Clicks pharmacies?
 When making your appointment for a Fitness Assessment please ensure that the Biokineticist is able to do your glucose and cholesterol test. The list of Bios who are eligible to do this test is on www.virginlifecare.co.za

 How often can I go for a Comprehensive Health Assessment /Fitness Assessment?
 You must go for a Comprehensive Health Assessment or a Fitness Assessment annually in order to get your discounts. You follow up by going to Clicks pharmacy every month for a Basic Health Assessment to check your weight, height, waist circumference and blood pressure. This info gets updated automatically on your health profile in your online LifeZone.

 What does a Comprehensive Health Assessment involve?
 A Comprehensive Health Assessment is done at a Clicks or Dis-Chem Clinic: Entails taking your measurements (including a finger-prick glucose and cholesterol test), answering a detailed health questionnaire which provides you with a detailed health report, exercise and nutrition programme and guidance.

Making an appointment is not essential but is the ideal to prevent waiting in a queue. Make sure you take your ID document (or Passport) with you to your assessment.

 How do I arrange a Fitness Assessment and what does involve?
 Fitness Assessment is done at a Biokineticist registered on the VLC network: This entails taking your measurements (including a finger-prick glucose and cholesterol test), doing a fitness test – where you will step up and down and sweat a bit!, answering a detailed health questionnaire, which will provide you with a detailed health report and fitness score, an exercise and nutrition programme and guidance. Making an appointment is essential and you can contact Virgin Life Care to obtain the contact details of a Biokineticist in your area. * When making your appointment please ensure that the Biokineticist is able to do your glucose and cholesterol test. The list of Biokineticists who are eligible to do this test is onwww.virginlifecare.co.za. Make sure you take your ID document (or Passport) with you to your assessment.

 How much does the assessment cost?
 The assessment is FREE if you are a LifeRewards or Reality, Reality++  or Reality Health member.

 How do I register for my online LifeZone?
 By doing your Comprehensive Health Assessment or Fitness Assessment you will be automatically registered on your LifeZone. The assessment will generate health report for you with your LifeZone login details.

 How much is the GoZone pedometer and how can I buy one?
 The GoZone pedometer is only R199 and you need to be a Reality+ ,Reality++  or Reality Health member to qualify for this benefit. You need to order this from Reality on 0860 REALITY.

 I am having difficulty registering / activating my pedometer?
 Contact Virgin Life Care to explain how to download the GoZone iSync software from VLC site OR go to www.virginlifecare.co.za, click on GoZone and follow the steps on how to get started.

 I am having difficulty downloading my pedometer steps?
